jbm weddings was thrilled to be a vendor at the bold italic’s well-attended love/make wedding expo. we were represented by our lovely and talented associate photographer erin prado. thanks, erin!
this event was our first appearance on the west coast as a business. we were founded in brooklyn, ny and have since expanded to our future home in san francisco. needless to say, it was a very exciting day for us.
after getting a glowing report from erin, we learned that the event was a huge success all-around. in fact, it was so well-attended that we were cleaned out of business cards and information packets after only two hours. i guess that’s a good problem to have, right?
in erin’s own words, there lots of “oos and awwws” as people strolled by, stopped to talk and watched the slideshow of our favorite work. there were so many incredibly talented and creative vendors at the event and were honored to be amongst them. not to mention, the tables looked amazing!
overall, jbm weddings was very well-received and we couldn’t happier.
if you were there (or you weren’t) and would like to see how it went, take a look through erin’s images below. enjoy!

the terra gallery was the perfect location for the event. what a beautiful and bright space! a photographer’s dream.
erin was enthusiastic and eager to man the jbm table. we can’t thank her enough for helping us make this transition.
AND it looked super cute, too 🙂
old cameras and crystals. what else do you need?
nopalito killed it. who doesn’t love organic and mexican food?
win/win.
oakland bakes enticed love/make goers with sweets and treats. seems like cheating!
live music is always good.
ash and i are obsessed with tipis. we want one to be a permanent fixture in our backyard someday. therefore, shelter co is awesome.
such a cute idea! as a huge charlie brown fan, a practical wedding‘s booth really caught my eye.
we love the style of western editions’s work.
we love the concept behind 11 stories. such a great product!
brilliant idea, home sweet flowers. ash and i can never turn down a floral crown.
she’s making a floral crown for two.
such a cool idea! there just aren’t places like the poetry store on the east coast. gotta love california!
hunt & gather rentals had one of our favorite displays. it was so beautifully curated! in fact, they had the same vintage camera that we did. all great minds….
i want ALL of this stuff.

that’s why artful gentleman was there to represent!
i really respect the green business practices of locally grown weddings.

such a great assortment presented by mod cloth.
the shrooms in their logo may be my favorite.
magbooth had an awesome setup, as usual! it’s hard to say no to a photo booth.
daughters of simon had a STUNNING setup to compliment their stunning pieces. their style is right up our alley!
omg. deviled eggs. omg. fogcutter catering and events knows me so well.
